Simple, to experience the best customer service. We aim to offer a customer focused service where we take the hassle out of getting your computer fixed. All our technicians are fully trained and have excellent customer service skills. We operate a pickup-fix-return service so if we can't fix the fault in your home or office, we will take it away and repair it and then return it back to you. We will also set it back up so it is all ready for you to use. There are many reasons our customers call ComputerFixed instead of someone else. Here are just a few –

Yes we do fix general Apple Mac computer faults. However we are not Apple Mac specialists.
No we do not charge a call out charge. We also do not charge if we can't fix the fault.
It depends on the nature of the fault. If the fault will take a while to fix then we will give you a fixed price. Our hourly charge is £30.

We do not stock software but we will buy it on your behalf and install it (installation fee applies). We can advise what type of software you may need. We also can offer training on most popular software.
We do not stock hardware but we will buy it on your behalf and install it (installation fee applies). We can advise what type of hardware you may need.
If you do not wish the technician to work beyond an hour please inform them before the hour is up (e.g. after 45 minutes) this will give them time to try and get your PC into the best state they can. Please bear in mind that the technician is not responsible for repairing your computer if you do not wish them to continue. The no fix no fee does not apply if the technician is stopped or restricted in any way from repairing the computer.
Generally speaking customers contact us; we purchase the hardware sometimes at a lower price and then arrange a time to install it at your convenience. You are more than welcome to buy the parts yourself and then contact us to send a technician to install them for you.
We charge per hour. However the technicians will use their discretion if the job just goes a little over a hour.
When you contact us via email or via telephone there is a certain amount of detail that will help us provide you with a quicker and more reliable service.
- The nature of your problem in as much detail as possible.
- The type of upgrade in as much detail as possible.
- When you are available for a technician to visit.
- A contact name, number, and email address so we can confirm our visit.
- The address of the visit including postcode.
- Any other information you feel is necessary.
For home users we currently only accept cash and cheques, paid to the technician before they leave the premises. Invoices can be set up for business users, please contact us for further information.
You should ensure that ALL software disks you have are available to the technician when he arrives including your Operating System disks, driver disks and other disks that came when you purchased the PC. This cuts out the time taken to find drivers and disks and allows the technician to focus his time on your problem. If you have no software disks for your computer please inform us when you contact us along with the make and model of you computer if possible. This helps us to get copies of these disks before we arrive to offer you a better, quicker service.
Any software we purchase on your behalf or install on your computer will always be genuine. We WILL NOT install pirated software on any computer under any circumstances. All software purchased and installed by us on your behalf is owned by you.
Yes you do get a warranty with all new computers built by us. The warranty is for one year and if you experience a fault within this period just contact us. If we cannot fix the fault at the location of the computer then we will take it away and fix it and then return it back to you. We will also set it up so it's ready for you to use. There will be no charge for this as long as the computer is in warranty.
We offer a repair service seven days a week (no extra charge for Saturdays or Sundays). Just contact us and we will endeavour to book you in as soon as we can.
ComputerFixed does not have premises for customers to visit. We do all our work at the customer's location.
